Sunrise Primo is a blend of premier quality perennial ryegrass that provides an exceptional turfgrass coverage for either permanent turfgrass coverage or for the overseeding of warm season grasses. Elite Perennial Ryegrass varieties blended into Sunrise Primo include Applaud, Jet, and Integra. Sunrise Primo has endophyte enhancement due to the high endophyte level of at least one component. This endophyte enhancement makes Sunrise Primo turf more stress tolerant.

Sunrise Primo is Penkoted to lock-in fungus protection for the seedling at germination along with protection from soil insects and to stimulate initial growth. Sunrise Primo is comprised of a blend of Blue Tag Certified, Tournament Quality perennial ryegrasses that provides outstanding density, fine texture, and rapid establishment yet will transition in the spring when utilized as an overseeding for warm season grasses. Rapid establishment of Sunrise Primo, along with aggressive tillering, provides a high percentage of coverage yet produces fewer clippings. Sunrise Primo is endophyte enhanced for more disease, insect, and stress tolerance.

Under ideal conditions, germination begins in 6 days. If overseeding, care must be taken to ensure adequate seed to soil contact. Subject to germination rate, first mowing may begin at 21 days after sowing.
Recommended mowing heights for tees is 3/8 to 5/8 inch (9.5 - 15.9 mm) 5 to 6 times per week, for fairways is 1/2 to 3/4 inch (12.7 - 19.05 mm) 3 to 4 times per week, and greens 3/16 - 5/16 inch (4.8 - 7.9 mm) 5 to 6 times per week.
Sunrise Primo responds to 1/2 lb Nitrogen per application. Repeat applications only as grass shows need due to fading color.
